Tripods are fairly easy to set up for your average human being, but half of us are below average. Ahem.
Someone had the same idea and built a tripod that sets up much more quickly. It’s called the Zipshot tripod. No, they did not pay me to say that.

That is why we don’t use tripods! Your Uncle Lionel has one that is a flexible unipod that wraps around an object, but it does require that you have an object to wrap it around!
Yeah watching you set that up makes me tired already :) That’s why we usually just use a piece of furniture to take group photos…and it’s the cheapo option! :)
