A Nice Guy on a Usability Rampage

Mitchell JoeHello there! Life is good. I am happy. I don’t want to complain. Yet I have a sneaking suspicion that I would be very good at it if I tried. In fact, I suspect that it might even be my life’s work, my cosmic calling. “How can this be?!” I hear you wonder aloud in disappointed disbelief—“Surely no part of Life with a capital L wants any little bit of life whittling away his hours and days complaining!”

Well, actually, I’m not so sure. You see, I think there’s an upside to complaining. Someone looked at stairs and asked, “Why don’t they walk themselves?” and then escalators were born. Someone got tired of having to get off the couch to change the channel on their TV and now we have remote controls. Someone was annoyed by getting busy signals when their friends were on the phone and now we have call waiting. So, my friends, I think complaining is the way forward and I’m stepping up—or at least riding the escalator. Life is good, and I’d like to help make it even better. My contribution is giving recommendations.

If you have a product, process, or website that you would like me to analyze for potential improvements, please do get in touch. I’m a Happy Complainer for Hire.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the happy complaints.

Mitch
